Be part of something bigger at B&M! We’re looking for a detail orientated, self-motivated Transport Planner to join our Distribution Centre in Speke, Liverpool. This is an exciting opportunity to join the team in a key operational area, which plays a vital role in keeping over 750 stores stocked and ready to serve our 4 million customers every week.
As an Imports and Exports Logistics Planner, you will be supporting our Logistics Team to ensure that international deliveries to and from the warehouse are made on time, and correctly. You will be working closely with suppliers, carriers and internal teams to ensure the smooth flow of stock across the supply chain.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Coordinate inbound and export shipments, ensuring the smooth flow of goods.
- Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders and carriers to support shipment planning.
- Ensuring all shipping and customs documentation is accurate, complete and submitted on time.
- Monitor shipment progress and highlight any delays or issues to relevant stakeholders.
- Maintaining accurate system records.
- Support end-to-end planning process.
What we’re looking for:
We’re looking for someone who is highly organised, and able to juggle multiple tasks at once. You will be working in a busy, fast-paced supply chain which is truly global. This position will be well suited to those who are currently working in warehousing, admin, or logistics.
You’ll need to have:
- Previous exposure to logistics, supply chain, warehousing or administration is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail, especially with documentation and data.
- High organisational ability – you will be managing multiple things at once!
- Experience using and manipulating Excel documents.
- Strong communication skills – you will be communicating with external and internal stakeholders.
