We are looking for a dedicated Security Officer to join our team at our Bedford Distribution Centre, working a 48 hour non-fixed shift pattern. If you’re passionate about safety, security, and maintaining high standards, this could be the role for you!
The key Responsibilities are:
- Managing and controlling all access to the site
- Booking vehicles in and out
- Writing accurate and timely incident reports
- Conducting vehicle and colleague searches
- Responding quickly to security incidents
- Completing regular internal and external patrols
- Carrying out daily and weekly audits
- Engaging in physical duties as required
We’d love to hear from candidates who can demonstrate:
- Experience in a similar security role
- Strong written communication skills
- Confidence using Microsoft Excel
- Understanding of Data Protection and Health & Safety
- Experience in conflict management and incident reporting
- A resilient, professional approach when dealing with challenging situations
- An SIA Licence is desirable, but not essential
