We have an exciting opportunity for a Visual Merchandiser within our Central Operations Team.This would be an ideal role for someone who has worked in retail previously and has a keen eye for product and visual merchandising.
The role is full time and office based at our Support Centre in Speke, Liverpool L24.
The Visual Merchandising team produces detailed planograms and guidelines for every product category that we sell at B&M. Therefore, we\’re looking for someone with experience implementing planograms and a solid understanding of the impact they have on stores. You\’ll be working closely with our Retail and Buying teams to develop Visual Merchandising plans that maximise sales, profit and return on space.
Within this role, you will be responsible for:
- Producing visual merchandising guidelines for FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) categories and Brown Box departments, keeping them up to date as new lines arrive.
- Creatingcommunications suitable for implementation by store teams.
- Developing a strong set of principles to ensure implementation in store is simple.
- Keeping abreast of VM trends in other retailers to ensure that we remain visually competitive.
- Supporting new product launches with well planned POS and internal marketing, in collaboration with the VM team.
- Working alongside other teams across the business including Buying, Merchandising & Communications.
- Visiting stores to review implementation and identify opportunities to improve.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience creating Visual Merchandising guidelines for retail staff to follow and implement in stores.
- FMCG visualmerchandising experience.
- Store based retail experience (desired but not essential).
- Microsoft Office 365 skills – comfortable with using PowerPoint, Word & Excel.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate well.
- Initiative to work on your own or as part of different teams.
- The ability to thrive under pressure, work at speed anddeliverwith tight timescales.
- Good time management and the ability to prioritise workload, with the agility to react quickly to changes.
- Strong organisational skills.
