We are looking for a technically excellent and ambitious corporate lawyer with between 2 and 5 years’ PQE keen to take on a rewarding associate role within a leading Corporate team.
Responsibilities
- Front-line support of deals, including drafting and negotiating documents, control of due diligence and disclosure exercises and closings, managing projects to a budget, and taking responsibility for client delivery and satisfaction.
- General corporate advisory work to provide continuing relationships with clients.
- Engaging in business development activities and being active in the promotion of the Firm and seeking opportunities for new work principally through (a) peer-to-peer relationship building within clients and intermediaries and (b) involvement in our key industry sector activities (consumer; industrials; pharma/healthcare) and (c) helping with pitch documentation and attending pitch meetings where appropriate.
- Working as part of a team including assisting with the supervision of junior lawyers’ work, and taking an active part in sharing knowledge and experience with the team.
Qualifications / Skills
- Current international and/or UK M&A experience in the corporate department of a leading firm.
- First rate technical skills needed to support the client work of the department.
