We now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Pastry Chef to join our team.
- Your Duties Will Include
- Prepare a selection of cakes, pastries, breads etc. using both traditional and in-house recipes.
- Creatively decorate and present all finished work to a high specification.
- Store, clean and maintain all equipment used in the production of required pastry work.
- Monitoring stock levels and ordering new stock when required to.
- Adhere to all food, allergen, health & safety standards of bartlett mitchell.
- To achieve & maintain efficient and high standards of food production.
- Engage in customer contact to measure success
- Contribute to a positive attitude towards learning opportunities within the company
- To be an effective communicator with the rest of the kitchen team.
- Inspire team to want to exceed the norm
With two years’ experience working in a similar operation and educated to C & G 706 1 & 2, NVQ or equivalent, as well as H&S and FS level 2 certificates, you’ll have excellent organisational and time management skills.
