General Catering Assistant
Shift options: 1. Saturday & Sunday 9am‑5pm
2. Evening 7pm‑1am (various shifts available)
Pay: £12.21 per hour, overtime available.
Join our team at M&S Distribution Centre, Castle Donington, and contribute to maintaining brand‑standard quality across our catering operations.
Responsibilities
- Monitor counters and chillers to ensure they are clean, well‑stocked, and presented in line with our six principles.
- Regularly inspect restaurant areas to maintain consistent cleanliness and presentation.
- Listen carefully to manager instructions and provide prompt, efficient service at all times.
- Communicate confidently with customers, gather feedback, and respond to their needs to ensure a positive experience.
- Follow procedures and demonstrate good food‑safety practice at all times.
Qualifications
- Current Food Safety Level 2 certificate or willingness to obtain it.
- Current Health & Safety Level 2 certificate or willingness to obtain it.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
