We’re a multi-award-winning contract catering company, with a team of trained foodies serving over 45,500 satisfied customers every day. We now have an exciting opportunity for a General Assistant to join our team in Swindon on a fixed-term contract. This is a varied role supporting both the kitchen and front-of-house operation, helping to deliver a great food and customer experience every day.

The role is offered on a 36-hour per week fixed-term contract, running from 13 July 2026 to 31 January 2027. The working pattern will be:

  • Monday: 08:00–18:30
  • Tuesday: 08:00–18:30
  • Wednesday: 08:00–14:30
  • Friday: 08:00–18:30

You’ll be responsible for monitoring counters and chillers, making sure they are clean, well‑stocked and presented in line with our six principles. You’ll regularly check the restaurant areas to ensure consistent standards of cleanliness, presentation and service, with excellent attention to detail. You’ll provide prompt and efficient service at all times, communicate confidently with customers, gain feedback and respond to their needs to help ensure every customer has a positive experience. The role will also involve supporting the kitchen team where needed, following procedures and maintaining good food safety and health and safety practices at all times.

We’re looking for someone who has previous experience in a customer service or catering environment, with good merchandising skills and till experience. You’ll be able to listen carefully, follow instructions from your manager and work well as part of a team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a busy hospitality environment and takes pride in delivering excellent service, clean presentation and a positive customer experience.
