We’re a multi award-winning contract catering company, with a team of trained foodies serving over 45,500 satisfied customers every day. We now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Kitchen Manager to join our team. This is a Kitchen Manager position to work 5 days out of 7.

Responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for the running of the contract, liaising with the client to ensure that all customers enjoy the food and service at site, and recruit, train and motivate your team.
  • Manage the budget, complete weekly reports and stock counts, and ensure that you and your team achieve GP and budgets every week.
  • Forecast accurately with in-depth knowledge of contract catering and apply planning and organising skills to deliver innovative food and service each day.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety and compliance.
  • Brief and support your teams and bring our values to the site.
  • Produce outstanding food and create seasonal, balanced and nutritious menus.
  • Be part of a culture of learning by attending forums and Academy workshops to stay up-to-date with food innovation.
  • Interact regularly with customers to measure success, gain inspiration for new ideas and maximise sales with our concepts and innovations.

Qualifications:

  • Ideally educated to City & Guilds 706 1 and 2, NVQ or have equivalent skills and experience; hold a Food Safety qualification at Level 3 as a minimum, with Health Safety at Level 2; excellent knowledge of Food Safety Management System requirements as well as COSHH.
