We are looking for a Weekend Activities Organiser (working every other weekend) who will support the Engagement Lead to enhance residents' quality of life through a lifestyle programme and framework that stimulates meaningful engagement and positively impacts wellbeing.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Engagement Lead in developing an engaging and meaningful activity programme.
  • Promote a whole team approach to Engagement and Wellbeing, planning within the B&M activity framework.
  • Work in line with the company's culture and ethos, promoting Commitment, Connection and Compassion in daily duties.
  • Plan activities for any hours on duty as Activity Organiser, ensuring suitable resources and an appropriate environment.
  • Enter details of activities undertaken and engagement levels into residents' care plan using the MCM system.
  • Prepare resources in advance and set up the space as required.
  • Consult with the Engagement Lead on any plans and request additional resources if needed.
  • Provide support and companionship during activities.
  • Identify each resident's special interests and plan activities to support them.
  • Ensure areas around the home are attractive, safe and accessible for residents, reporting concerns to the Engagement Lead.

Qualifications

  • Hold a clean full UK driving licence.
  • Ability to motivate and encourage activities suitable for all residents.
