About the Role

As Head Chef, you’ll lead the kitchen in creating meals that are nourishing, beautifully presented, and full of care. Working collaboratively with residents, families, and management, you’ll design seasonal menus that reflect diverse tastes, cultures, and dietary needs - ensuring that every mealtime feels special.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create seasonal, balanced menus in consultation with residents, families, and the Home Manager
  • Deliver excellent dining experiences, ensuring meals are well-presented and enjoyable
  • Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen to meet all Health & Safety standards
  • Manage food stock and adhere to budget controls set by the company
  • Supervise, train, and develop kitchen team members, conducting regular appraisals and inductions
  • Ensure all practices exceed Food Safety and Health & Safety regulations

What You'll Bring

  • Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2 (or above) - Essential
  • Proven experience cooking for groups in a care, hospitality, or catering setting
