About the Role

As Care Manager, you’ll work closely with the Home Manager and any Deputy/Assistant Managers to ensure Montrose Care Home continues to deliver the highest standards of residential and dementia care. You’ll combine strong leadership with compassion, supporting both your team and our residents to thrive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire the care team to deliver person-centred, high-quality care.
  • Support the Home Manager in maintaining CQC and company standards.
  • Oversee staff training, supervision and professional development.
  • Manage medication systems and ensure safe practice.
  • Maintain effective staffing levels and rotas.
  • Take responsibility for daily operations in the Home Manager’s absence.

What You’ll Bring

  • NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care (or working towards).
  • Proven experience in residential or dementia care leadership.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
