A modern, forward thinking and flexible accountancy firm are hiring a key job role, commutable from Oakham, Stamford, Leicester, Corby and Melton Mowbray for a Trainee to Semi-Senior Accountant with an employer offering hybrid working, parking, strong holidays and perks, plus a friendly and supportive team. Salary will depend on experience, the team is well-balanced between experience and those training, with great offices, parking on-site and they are flexible on hybrid working, with them typically wanting 2 or 3 days office based. Working hours can also be flexible within reason, with employees having varying start and finish times. Responsibilities: Tracking financial transactions for a number of clients, ensuring postings are accurate and entries can be explained. Reconciliation of bank and credit card transactions. Making supplier and payroll payments using Telleroo Assist in preparation of VAT returns. Assist with other bookkeeping duties. Develop working relationships with clients. Use excellent written and oral communication. General administration tasks. Developing an understanding of the Company’s methods and standards of work required.
