Practice Accountant, Manager to Director

We are recruiting for a key role at a well-established, independent firm of accountants in Grimsby. The firm are looking for an Accountantwith experience from working in an accountancy practice, but for the right person, this position can develop into a leadership Director or Partner role.

Key Responsibilities

• The role can be split between “doing” work and “reviewing / managing” to suit your skill set and seniority level.
• Reviewing, managing and doing year-end accounts for individuals, partnerships, and limited companies.
• Review and preparation of tax returns for individuals and small businesses.
• Liaise directly with clients to gather necessary financial information and ensure accurate data for tax filings.
• Oversee payroll accurately and on time, including salaries, benefits, and statutory deductions.
• Prepare and submit PAYE, National Insurance, and pension contributions.
