Senior Accountant role As a Senior Accountant, you will manage a varied portfolio of clients and take responsibility for delivering a high-quality service.
Your responsibilities are likely to include
- Managing a portfolio of accountancy practice clients
- Preparing and reviewing year-end accounts
- Ensuring work is completed accurately, on time and within budget
- Managing statutory deadlines, compliance and regulatory requirements
- Working closely with clients to understand their financial and accounting needs
- Leading pre and post year-end meetings with clients
- Preparing actions and follow-up points from client meetings
- Providing a high level of client service and dealing with any queries or concerns
- Supervising and reviewing the work of junior members of the team
- Supporting the training, mentoring and development of junior staff
