We are working with a reputable and thriving professional services firm to recruit an experienced Legal Cashier on a permanent basis. The Role
You will play a key role in managing office and client account transactions, ensuring accuracy and full compliance with the Solicitors Accounts Rules.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing inbound payments for office and client accounts
- Posting transactions to client ledgers using the practice management system
- Issuing bills, cheques and processing BACS payments
- Bank reconciliations, VAT returns, bookkeeping and month-end reporting
- Managing payment exceptions and liaising with finance and legal teams
- Maintaining accurate electronic filing of transactional documentation
- Managing the Cashiers team mailbox and supporting wider finance duties
- Applying delegated discretion in line with firm procedures and regulatory requirements
