Job Advert: Interim Financial Controller Location: Colchester or Reading (Hybrid Working) Start Date: ASAP Working Arrangement: Hybrid 4 days remote, 1 day in the office We are seeking an experienced Interim Financial Controller to join our team on a temporary basis, supporting critical financial operations during the year-end period. This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic professional to play a key role in ensuring the smooth execution of year-end and month-end processes, as well as managing the year-end audit. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage the month-end and year-end close processes. Prepare and review financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance. Liaise with auditors during the year-end audit, providing required documentation and resolving queries. Support the finance team with reconciliation, variance analysis, and other technical accounting duties. Ensure adherence to internal controls, policies, and relevant accounting standards.
