A leading accountancy firm, close to Peterborough, March, Spalding, Huntingdon and Stamford have an Audit and Accounts Manager role in their office, but they are open to applications from the Assistant Manager through to Senior Manager grade. Key Responsibilities- Manage and execute client audits for sign off by Partner, focusing on corporate governance, internal controls and financial statement accuracy.
- Audit review and reporting, preparation and review of audit working papers.
- Management of a portfolio of account clients ensuring timely submission of financial statements and tax returns.
- Develop and maintain effective client relationships.
- Prepare financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, charities and limited companies.
- Produce year end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
- Organise the flow of work within the team.
- Review work undertaken by junior staff.
- Monitor and report on team performance.
- Ensure that work is delivered with budget and time requirements.
- Provide assistance in the development of junior staff.
- Prepare schedules for complex VAT, Tax returns and tax advisory.
- Prepare schedules for Tax returns.
