A leading accountancy firm is recruiting for an Accounts Senior to join their specialist financial reporting team. This is a particularly good opportunity for an Accounts Senior with strong statutory accounts experience who wants to move into a role with greater exposure to technical accounting, complex reporting and consolidated accounts. The successful Accounts Senior will work closely with audit teams, managers, partners and client finance teams, dealing with a varied portfolio ranging from privately owned businesses through to larger groups.
The Role:
- Preparing statutory financial statements for a diverse range of clients
- Producing accounts in accordance with FRS 102 and FRS 102 Section 1A
- Preparing and reviewing consolidated financial statements for group companies
- Working alongside audit teams on financial reporting and technical accounting matters
- Ensuring accounts comply with current accounting standards and regulatory requirements
- Helping improve systems, procedures and processes within the financial reporting team
- Supporting less experienced colleagues and sharing technical knowledge as the team continues to grow
