A rare Payroll career opportunity, ideally suited to anyone from Senior Payroll to Payroll Manager level and based in really nice offices, easily commutable from Leicester, Loughborough, Melton Mowbray and surrounding areas. The role is ideally office-based, but the firm might consider some hybrid / home working for the right person.
The firm have a small team in payroll and this position is to ideally be the lead role / Manager. There is still a doing / hands-on element to this role in terms of processing payrolls, plus, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the firms management team and potentially look at new systems / IT changes if preferred.
Salary wise, the firm are open within reason. Roles at this level tend to be in the range of circa Β£36K to Β£42K, but the firm might be slightly flexible outside of this for the right person. The salary level attached to this advert is intended as a general guide, the firm will make a decision based on the experience and relevance of the chosen candidate.
ROLE OVERVIEW:- Processing payroll, using Xero and Superpay systems
- Staff supervision
- Managing end to end payroll for clients ranging from weekly to monthly
- Client relationship management
- Pension administration
- Auto enrolment
- Processing starters & leavers / P45
- Processing & calculating all statutory payments (SSP, SMP, SPP & ShPP)
- CIS Payroll Journals and reports
- PAYE queries
