This Accountant position, available from Semi-Senior Accountant level up to Senior level, with Manager grade applicants also being considered, with a firm of accountants in Milton Keynes offers unique and extremely attractive benefits, with the firm's flexibility and generous employment terms rare.
In addition to private healthcare and pension, holidays are generous at between 30 and 33 to start. The hybrid job on offer allows you to spend time working from home, although more office time is sensible initially, so you should still live within a reasonable commute of Milton Keynes, plus:
- Flexibility on starting between 8 and 9am and finishing 4.30 to 5.30
- Annual bonus scheme
- Regular pay reviews and ongoing career development
The job can be hired at a Semi-Senior to Senior level, so anyone from part-qualified (ACCA / ACA or AAT), through to qualified or 'qualified by experience' accountants with proven experience gained from working in practice are encouraged to apply.

- To support the management
- To review and manage a portfolio of jobs within the accounts team.
- To manage a client portfolio, including budgeting, negotiation, billing and recovery.
- Managing statutory accounts preparation assignments
- Preparation / review of Corporate Tax Returns
- Preparation / review of Personal Tax Returns.
- Finalising accounts
- Working with Xero and QuickBooks Online and ability to advise cloud-based clients.
Remuneration will be dependent on experience, so the guide on this advert is a general indication, but the firm will decide on a job offer after interviews. Right to work in the UK required.
