A well-established and forward-thinking accountancy practice commutable from Ipswich and Saxmundham are looking to recruit an Accountant to join their growing team. This full-time role (37.5 hours per week) offers excellent development prospects, with study support available for ACCA or ICAEW qualifications.

Main responsibilities:
The role will involve preparing financial accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies, as well as supporting with corporate and personal tax compliance. You’ll liaise directly with clients, resolving queries, providing financial advice, and building trusted working relationships. The position offers broad exposure across bookkeeping, management accounts, VAT, and other business services work.
Preparation of financial statements for a range of clients
• Assisting with corporation tax and personal tax returns
• Preparation and submission of VAT returns
• Bookkeeping and management accounts preparation using Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage
• Supporting client queries and providing advice where required
• Working independently and collaboratively as part of a supportive team
