We are looking for a Part-Time Treasury, Tax & VAT Accountant to support a growing finance team in Leicestershire across treasury and tax operations. This role offers flexibility and variety, ideal for an experienced accountant seeking a part-time position with responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage day-to-day treasury activities, including cash flow forecasting, liquidity reporting and bank reconciliations
- Oversee corporate tax compliance, including preparation and review of tax computations and filings
- Prepare and review VAT returns, ensuring compliance with UK VAT legislation
- Support and manage factoring / invoice finance arrangements, including reporting and reconciliations
- Liaise with banks, HMRC and external advisors
- Assist with year-end, audit and statutory reporting
- Identify opportunities to improve treasury controls and tax efficiency
- ACA / ACCA / CTA qualified or qualified by experience
- Proven experience across treasury, corporate tax and VAT
- Factoring or invoice finance experience highly desirable
- Strong Excel skills and confidence working with finance systems
- Detail-focused, proactive and able to work independently
- Flexible 3–4 days per week
- Hybrid / remote working options
