Part-Time Accountant in Leicester

We are hiring a permanent job, with a long established, but modern independent accountancy practice, who are hiring a Part-Time Accountant position, ideally for 25 to 30 hours per week, but there is flexibility either side of that amount of weekly hours, dependent on your preference and availability. This firm’s location makes them easily accessible from Leicester, Loughborough and Melton Mowbray, with parking freely available on site.

They are seeking to hire someone for an important role, in this friendly and flexible practice.

School hours could work well,5 hours per day for 5 days,but the employer would also welcome people who want to work 3 to 4 full days per week.

This practice hasvery few unincorporated clients. Ideally, they are looking for someone who has experience of preparing and completing statutory limited company, partnership and sole trader accounts using Iris (or similar accounts production system).

In addition, your role may occasionally visit clients to assist with the completion of management accounts, VAT returns and related work using Sage. Additionally, the firm are keen to bring someone in, who might be able to supervise internal book-keeping on Sage and Xero. They havea few clients on Quickbooks, so that is less important. The firm work mostly in the office, but can consider requests to spend some time from home on a hybrid basis.
