There is potential for the successful client to progress into a Supervisor role, with headroom to develop into a Manager, in the longer term future. Ultimately, the purpose of this role is to support the Partners, with plenty of client contact.
The Role
As a Senior Accountant, your responsibilities may include:
- Preparing year-end statutory accounts for a wide variety of clients.
- Completing VAT returns accurately and on time.
- Bookkeeping and assisting with the preparation of management accounts.
- Preparing personal and corporation tax returns.
- Liaising directly with clients to obtain accounting records and respond to day-to-day queries.
- Supporting senior members of the team with a range of accounting and advisory work.
- Building strong client relationships and delivering an excellent level of service.
