A highly desirable opportunity has opened up at Blushes Oxford for a Full-Time Salon & Front of House Manager. Working closely with our talented team of stylists, you will be the face of the salon—meeting, greeting, and assisting clients while ensuring smooth daily operations. This role is ideal for someone proactive, organised, and people-focused, with a passion for creating an exceptional salon experience.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Salon Operations & Client Experience: Ensure the salon runs efficiently, managing front-of-house services and supporting both clients and stylists. Maintain a welcoming and professional atmosphere that aligns with the Blushes brand. Provide first-class customer service—greeting clients, offering refreshments, and ensuring their needs are met throughout their visit. Manage appointment scheduling, ensuring a smooth and profitable day for stylists and clients alike. Build strong relationships with clients, ensuring any issues or complaints are handled promptly and effectively.
  • Co-Worker & Leadership Support: Be the first point of contact for co-workers, ensuring their workspace is fully stocked and operational. Communicate efficiently with stylists about client arrivals, appointment updates, and any special requests. Support a positive and high-performing salon environment through leadership, organisation, and motivation. Take ownership of diary management, cancellations, and rebooking processes to optimise efficiency and revenue.
  • Business & Salon Management: Oversee daily salon operations, ensuring all processes run smoothly. Monitor and manage stock levels of colour, retail, and salon supplies in line with budgets. Assist in marketing initiatives by promoting salon offers, events, and retail promotions. Maintain accurate client records, ensuring GDPR compliance and effective client communication strategies. Prepare weekly and monthly reports to track salon performance.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a management role within the beauty/hair or spa space.
  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to support a busy salon team.
  • Exceptional customer service abilities, ensuring every client enjoys a luxury experience.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, able to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Confidence with technology—experience with booking systems or CRM software is a plus.
  • A positive, can-do attitude with a proactive and self-motivated approach.
