Blush & Bloom is proud to partner exclusively with a rapidly growing beauty brand based in London. Following recent expansion, they are seeking a Regulatory Officer to join their Regulatory team. This newly created role offers the opportunity to shape compliance processes for innovative beauty products globally!
The ideal candidate will bring 2-3 years of Regulatory Affairs experience, specifically in the Cosmetics industry, and a passion for ensuring global compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Work with raw material suppliers to collect and verify technical documents for compliance.
- Communicate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure clear project requirements.
- Review product formulas to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Maintain and update internal databases with accurate information.
- Compile and manage Product Information Files (PIFs).
- Request and organise key regulatory documents such as INCIs, MSDSs, and compliance certificates.
- Ensure all new products meet regulations and company policies.
- Review technical documents like test reports, safety assessments, and SDSs to support compliance processes.
- Check artwork and packaging for compliance, including claims, warnings, and certification marks.
- Stay up to date with regulatory changes and update internal processes as needed.
- Research new legislation and provide updates to the team.
- Work with regulatory bodies and trade organisations to produce necessary certifications and documentation.
- Manage international product registrations by liaising with suppliers, manufacturers, and authorities.
- Submit product notifications to regulatory portals in the UK, EU, US, and other international markets.
- At least 2 years’ experience in regulatory roles in the skincare or cosmetics industry.
- A science degree or Cosmetic Science Diploma.
- Strong English, numeracy, and computer skills.
- Excellent organisational skills to manage projects and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Previous experience with international cosmetic product registrations is preferred.
