Blush & Bloom are partnered exclusively with a leading beauty company who have experienced a period of rapid growth over the past few years and as such, are recruiting a brand-new role to support the expansion of the business!

We’re looking for an innovative NPD Manager with experience from the beauty industry. You will lead the development of new, innovative product ranges whilst working for a growing and successful business!

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify trends and work with Marketing to spot gaps and trends for new products.
• Lead idea workshops to create and test new product concepts.
• Manage design, sample testing, supply chain, and production processes.
• Work with Finance to ensure products are developed within budget.
• Oversee product performance, usage claims, and packaging details.
• Ensure products meet UK and EU regulations and testing standards.
• Help Sales and Marketing with product launches, including trade samples and consumer testing.
• Build strong relationships with suppliers in the UK and Far East.
• Prepare product briefs and specifications.
• Manage the CPA.
• Handle cost negotiations with suppliers.
• Manage quality control for new and ongoing products, including handling returns and defects.
• Present monthly project updates to the team.

Key Requirements:

• Proactive and quick decision-maker.
• Excellent time management.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• At least 4 years in product development, preferably in the beauty industry.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of ingredients, regulations, and packaging.
• Experience with UK and Far East suppliers.
