A growing beauty and wellness brand is seeking an experienced Regulatory Affairs Manager to join its team. This is an exciting opportunity for a regulatory professional who enjoys combining hands-on compliance work with a broader strategic focus across international markets.
Working closely with Product Development, Marketing, Quality and Supply Chain teams, you will play a key role in supporting product launches, maintaining regulatory compliance and ensuring products can be successfully brought to market globally.
As Regulatory Affairs Manager, you will lead regulatory activities across a diverse portfolio of cosmetic, wellness and regulated products. You will be responsible for monitoring and interpreting global regulations, providing regulatory guidance to the business and supporting innovation while ensuring products meet all relevant compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Manage regulatory compliance across a range of global markets, ensuring products meet all relevant legal requirements.
- Keep up to date with changing regulations and provide guidance on any actions needed.
- Support the launch of new products by ensuring all regulatory requirements are met before going to market.
- Review product formulations, ingredients and claims to ensure they are compliant and fit for launch.
- Prepare, maintain and organise technical documentation and compliance records.
- Coordinate regulatory activities relating to product, packaging and supplier changes.
- Support product registrations and notifications across international markets.
- Work closely with Product Development, Marketing, Quality and Supply Chain teams to provide regulatory advice throughout the product lifecycle.
- Review packaging and marketing materials to ensure information and claims are accurate and compliant.
- Support packaging compliance and environmental reporting requirements where applicable.
- Maintain internal regulatory systems and databases, ensuring information is accurate and up to date.
- Liaise with external partners, laboratories and consultants to support compliance activities.
- Provide regulatory guidance to internal stakeholders and help build awareness of regulatory requirements across the business.
- At least 5 years' experience in a regulatory affairs role within cosmetics, beauty or personal care.
- Strong understanding of cosmetic regulations and compliance requirements across key global markets.
- Experience reviewing formulations, ingredients, packaging and product claims.
- Knowledge of Product Information Files (PIFs), Cosmetic Product Safety Reports (CPSRs) and general cosmetic compliance processes.
- Experience supporting product launches and managing regulatory requirements throughout the product lifecycle.
- Comfortable working with multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Confident communicator who can explain regulatory requirements clearly to different teams.
- Able to work independently while building strong relationships across the wider business.
- Degree qualified in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, Pharmacy or a related scientific discipline.
