Blush & Bloom are exclusively partnered with a leading beauty business who’re actively hiring a Regulatory Technologist to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive, collaborative regulatory team where you'll receive excellent training and exposure to UK and international cosmetic regulations, making it an ideal role for a graduate or someone early in their regulatory career. As Regulatory Technologist, you'll support the compliance of a diverse portfolio of cosmetic and gifting products across multiple international markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing and maintaining regulatory documentation for new and existing products.
- Reviewing supplier information and technical documentation to ensure compliance.
- Supporting product launches by ensuring packaging, labelling and ingredient information meets current legislation.
- Assisting with cosmetic product notifications across relevant global markets.
- Monitoring changes in cosmetic regulations and communicating updates internally.
- Working closely with product development, sourcing, quality and commercial teams to resolve compliance queries.
- Liaising with testing houses, safety assessors and external regulatory partners where required.
- Maintaining accurate regulatory records and supporting continuous process improvements.
Key Requirements:
- A degree in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry or another relevant scientific discipline.
- An interest in cosmetic regulations and product compliance.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn within a fast-paced environment.
Previous experience within cosmetics, personal care, consumer products or regulatory affairs would be advantageous, although graduates with relevant placements or industry exposure are encouraged to apply.
