A leading beauty and personal care brand is currently seeking a Junior Packaging Technologist to join their dynamic team based in Cheltenham. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development, testing and implementation of packaging solutions for new beauty products.
- Support packaging-related elements of NPD projects from concept through to launch.
- Work closely with suppliers and manufacturing partners, including those overseas, to ensure packaging is production-ready.
- Contribute to packaging sustainability initiatives in line with business goals.
- Help maintain packaging documentation, including technical specifications and testing reports.
- Participate in cost-saving and packaging optimisation projects.
- Attend regular cross-functional meetings and support project teams with technical insight.
Key Requirements:
- A degree (or equivalent) in Packaging, Engineering, Product Design, or a related technical discipline.
- Previous experience in packaging development (placement or post-grad) is a plus, but not essential.
