Blush & Bloom are partnered with a well-established, fast-growing business within the cosmetics and personal care space, who are looking to hire a Senior Operations Manager – Regulatory Toxicologist to join their UK team. This is a pivotal role sitting across global operations, regulatory standards and product safety, with a clear pathway into a senior-level position to align with the company's fast pace and progressive growth cycle.
You will lead operational delivery across all product compliance services, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, compliantly and to a high standard, whilst continuously improving processes and team capability. Acting as a key link between technical teams, clients and leadership, you will bring structure, clarity and momentum across multiple workstreams.
We are looking for someone with strong technical credibility, ambition and a people‑first, solutions‑led approach - confident leading conversations, supporting clients through challenges and bringing the best out of a highly technical team.
Key Responsibilities- Lead day‑to‑day delivery across global compliance projects, ensuring timelines, quality and client expectations are met.
- Act as a senior client contact, confidently handling complex product compliance discussions and providing practical solutions.
- Improve operational processes, systems and project management to drive efficiency.
- Work closely with external and internal standards to ensure alignment with SOPs and best practice.
- Oversee project tracking, resourcing and workflow across multiple projects.
- Manage stakeholder and supplier relationships (globally).
- Own KPIs, reporting and performance metrics aligned to business goals.
- Support budget management and cost control.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including ISO standards and audit readiness.
- Act as an escalation point for complex technical or operational issues.
- Support and develop a highly technical team, encouraging confidence and collaboration.
- Contribute to wider leadership and business strategy.
- Support hiring, onboarding and team development.
- Strong background in cosmetics regulatory / safety / compliance, confident in technical discussions.
- Ideally Eurotox qualified ~5+ years’ experience in toxicology or a related field.
- Previous leadership or management experience.
- Strong communicator who enjoys working with clients and teams.
- Solutions‑focused, collaborative and proactive.
- Highly organised with strong project management skills.
- Commercial awareness and experience working towards KPIs.
- Good understanding of cosmetics regulatory frameworks and standards.
