Prep School Administrator Tiverton, Devon About Us Founded in 1604, Blundell’s is a co-educational independent school for pupils aged 3 – 18 years. Boasting excellent facilities and the best in pastoral care, we are committed to providing an outstanding learning experience for all students. Based in 90 acres of beautiful Devon countryside, Blundell’s fosters a friendly and open environment where both students and staff can thrive. Blundell’s Prep is a school which embraces the traditional values of family life along with a strong academic ethos. From the moment you walk into the school, you will find a tangible sense of community and a passionate approach towards the development of every child in our care. We are now looking for a Prep School Administrator to join us on a permanent basis, working 8am – 4pm, Monday to Friday. This is a full-time role working 34 weeks per year during term time, plus six weeks during the holidays. The Role As a Prep School Administrator, you will take on a wide range of tasks to support day-to-day operations within our Prep School. Specifically, you will cover reception duties, handle administrative tasks, manage communications and correspondence, and provide event support. You will act as the first point of contact for parents, visitors and staff, contribute to maintaining a welcoming and efficient reception environment and provide general administrative support to the wider Prep School team. About You To be considered as a Prep School Administrator, you will need: - Strong organisation and administrative skills - A proven ability to communicate effectively and accurately in writing - Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate well to people at all levels - The ability to work effectively as a member of a team - The ability to remain calm under pressure and work to tight deadlines - Good judgement and strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent working knowledge of ICT applications The closing date for this role is 22nd September 2025.
