Foundation Administrator Tiverton, Devon About Us Founded in 1604, Blundell’s is a co-educational independent school for pupils aged 3 – 18 years. Based in 90 acres of beautiful Devon countryside, Blundell’s fosters a friendly and open environment where both students and staff can thrive. We are now looking for a Foundation Administrator to join us on a permanent, part-time basis, working 27.5 hours per week during term time, plus eight weeks during the holidays (total of 42 weeks per year). The Role As a Foundation Administrator, you will provide vital administrative support to our Foundation team. The Foundation Team is responsible for generating income to fund means-tested bursaries, major capital projects, and legacy giving, while nurturing lifelong connections with alumni, parents, and friends of the school. Ensuring the smooth running of all operations and communications across fundraising, alumni relations, and engagement activities, you will act as the first point of contact for the Foundation Office, handling correspondence and enquiries with professionalism. You will play a key role in supporting event coordination, organising logistics, tracking RSVPs, and assisting with briefings, materials, and reports to ensure each event runs seamlessly. Additionally, you will: - Prepare agendas, take minutes, and follow up on Foundation meeting actions - Maintain and develop the fundraising and alumni database - Assist with gift aid claims and income reporting - Support the production of newsletters, magazines, and stakeholder updates About You To be considered as a Foundation Administrator, you will need: - Experience providing administrative support - Excellent organisational skills - Proven skills in database management, with excellent attention to detail and accuracy - IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office and database systems - An understanding of, and commitment to, confidentiality and data protection principles - Strong verbal and written communication skills Closing date: 26th October 2025 Interview date: w/c 3rd November 2025 Other organisations may call this role Office Administrator, Admin Assistant, Personal Assistant, Charity Administrator, PA, Secretary, Receptionist, or School Administrator.
