We are now looking for a Catering Assistant to join us on a permanent basis, working 36 hours per week on a two week rota pattern during term time, with four weeks to be worked during the school holidays.

The Role
As a Catering Assistant, you will support the day-to-day operation of our busy catering department, assisting with serving healthy, delicious meals to our staff and students at our Senior School.
Specifically, you will serve and replenish food, undertake basic food preparation, clean working and storage areas, and set up and clean down for events and functions.
Working in line with Health and Safety and Food Safety standards, you will also work as part of a team to ensure catering services are smooth, efficient and coordinated.
About You
To be considered as a Catering Assistant, you will need:
- The ability to work well as part of a team and on your own initiative
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail, particularly around cleanliness and hygiene
- A flexible and adaptable approach to work
A food hygiene certificate is an advantage, but not essential, as full training will be provided. Previous catering experience would also be a bonus.
