We are now looking for a Catering Assistant to join us on a part-time, permanent basis, working 30 hours per week, 9am-3pm, Monday to Friday during term time, with an additional 4 weeks during school holidays.

The Role
As a Catering Assistant, you will support the day-to-day operation of our busy catering department, assisting with serving healthy, delicious meals to our staff and students. Helping to ensure kitchen and service areas are clean, well-organised and running efficiently, you will provide a positive and helpful service, prepare food and ensure a safe and hygienic working environment.
Additionally, you will:
- Help to set up and clear down dining and function spaces
- Support events
- Work in line with Health and Safety and Food Safety standards
Please note, this role involves lifting and carrying items of a reasonable weight.
About You
To be considered as a Catering Assistant, you will need:
- The ability to work well as part of a team and on your own initiative
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail, particularly around cleanliness and hygiene
- A flexible and adaptable approach to work
A food hygiene certificate is an advantage, but not essential, as full training will be provided. The closing date for this role is 13th February 2026.
