PA to the CEO & Office Community Manager
Blume is a 150-strong contact centre based in the heart of Didsbury, a genuinely lovely corner of Manchester. We're a people business. Our culture is warm, collaborative and fast-moving, and we work hard to make sure every single person who walks through our door feels it.
Now we need someone to help us live that every single day!
A few things we're looking for
- Previous PA, EA or senior admin experience, ideally supporting at Director or C-suite level in the last 3 years
- Confident managing a complex, fast-changing diary and arranging detailed travel itineraries
- A natural multi-tasker who switches between strategic support and hands-on office tasks without a second thought
- Warm, personable and at ease being the face of the business whether that's greeting a client or answering the phone
- Happy to be fully on-site at our Didsbury offices this role is all about being present
- Comfortable with facilities admin, event coordination and the general ebb and flow of a busy office
- A good sense of humour and a genuine enjoyment of the people around you
Supporting our CEO
Our CEO moves fast and needs a PA who moves with them, proactively, calmly, and always one step ahead. That means owning their diary end-to-end, booking and managing travel (travel, flights, hotels, transfers the works), and making sure every day is set up so they can focus on what they do best. You'll know their schedule inside out, anticipate what they need before they ask, and handle the stream of requests and admin that come with leading a growing business. You'll be a trusted right hand discreet, reliable and genuinely invested in helping them thrive.
Supporting the C-suite & the wider office community
When you're not in CEO-support mode, you'll be the connective tissue that keeps the whole office humming. That means being the first face people see at Front of House, visitors, couriers, new starters and making sure every encounter with blume feels warm and professional. You'll support the wider C-suite with ad hoc admin, help coordinate internal and external events, manage meeting rooms so they're always clean, stocked and ready to impress, and keep the facilities ticking over (think risk assessments, contractor liaison, that kind of thing). And yes the snack cupboard will absolutely be your domain!
Making the office feel alive
This one's harder to put in a job description, but it might be the most important part. You'll be someone people gravitate towards. Someone who notices when the kitchen needs tidying, when a new joiner looks lost, or when a team could do with a little pick-me-up. You'll have the run of the office and you'll use it wandering, chatting, helping, connecting. The energy you bring every morning will set the tone for everyone else.
Who you are
You're curious, communicative and genuinely love helping people because it's in your job description, but because that's just who you are. You're low-ego and calm under pressure; you don't need the spotlight, you just need to know the job is done well. You're a brilliant communicator as comfortable chatting to the CEO as you are welcoming a visitor or tracking down a missing parcel. You're organised to your core, but flexible enough to drop everything when something urgent comes up.
You thrive being around people. You're bubbly and bright without being performative. You're the kind of person who makes a place feel better just by being in it and you genuinely love it when things run smoothly because of something you quietly made happen.
