About The Role

Our Storyboard Artists have excellent narrative and drawing skills, with a clear grasp of staging, character, and comedy. They work closely with the director and supervisor to create dynamic, narrative-driven boards. The role starts in September 2025 and requires the candidate to be based in the UK outside London (outside the M25). We are unable to consider VISA sponsorship at this time. The vacancy may close early if we receive many applications. We offer flexible, hybrid, and remote working options.

Day to Day:

• Creating coherent and finished storyboards with the director and supervisor.
• Collaborating with the writing team to inform narrative and comedy.
• Applying comedic timing from scripts effectively.
• Maintaining consistency and perspective when drawing characters.
• Implementing feedback from project directors.

About You

Must Have:

• Strong understanding of perspective.
• Excellent posing and character skills.
• Knowledge of layout and composition.
• Experience with story and staging.
• Ability to convey emotion and wit in boards.
• Ability to work calmly under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Previous experience in animation production.
