We are seeking an experienced SAP MRS Functional Consultant to support our Utilities client in the delivery and optimisation of SAP MRS. The consultant will provide functional expertise, translate business requirements into SAP solutions, and ensure effective resource planning and scheduling across operations. Remote working with ad hoc travel to Leeds.
Key Deliverables
- Lead workshops and gather business requirements for SAP MRS in Utilities environments.
- Configure and maintain SAP MRS for planning and scheduling of field service and operational resources.
- Support AS-IS and TO-BE process mapping, ensuring alignment with SAP PM, CS, and Field Service processes.
- Provide end-to-end functional support including integration with SAP PM/CS, resource skill matching, and workload leveling.
Background
- Hands-on experience as an SAP MRS Functional Consultant, ideally in Energy, Water, or Gas.
- Strong knowledge of resource scheduling, capacity planning, and workforce management.
- Experience integrating SAP MRS with PM, CS, and Fiori/UI5 interfaces.
- Functional understanding of Utilities operations (field service, maintenance, network operations).
- Excellent stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.
- Experience with UAT, documentation, and post-go-live support.
The position is a 6-month contract, within IR35.
