We’re Hiring: Plumber / Heating Engineer – Hybrid Managerial Role | North Devon
Bluewave Group Ltd is expanding our Plumbing & Heating division, and we are looking for a highly skilled Plumber/Heating Engineer who is ready to step into a hybrid role: part on the tools, part managing a small team.
This is a career-progression position with a clear pathway to becoming a full-time Plumbing & Heating Manager as the division grows.
🔧 The Role- 50% on the tools completing plumbing & heating works across domestic and commercial projects
- 50% managerial responsibilities including:
- Supervising and supporting 2–3 engineers
- Job allocation & planning
- Quality control & compliance
- Client communication where required
- Helping refine processes as we scale
- Working closely with our Directors and Ops team to grow the department
- NVQ Level 2/3 Plumbing & Heating (or equivalent)
- Experience running or managing jobs (even informally)
- Strong leadership mindset – someone who enjoys supporting others
- Organised, proactive, and confident speaking with customers
- Looking for genuine long-term career progression
