We’re working with a medical device and innovative AI company who are looking for an exceptional Executive Assistant to work for the Founder. They are looking for someone who can operate at pace, think ahead, and bring structure to a constantly moving environment. This role involves high volumes of communication, shifting priorities and complex scheduling. This is a full-time permanent hybrid role based in Cambridge and you will be based 1 – 2 days per week in the office. The ideal candidate will have experience of working in the healthcare / medical industry.
Responsibilities
- Managing a fast-moving and often complex diary, ensuring accessibility and efficiency
- Acting as a strong gatekeeper, confidently managing priorities and interruptions
- Attending meetings, taking accurate minutes at speed, and ensuring clear follow-ups
- Using AI note-taking tools to support documentation and organisation
- Handling a high volume of emails and correspondence, drafting and responding where appropriate
- Supporting operational organisation and tracking progress across multiple workstreams
- Anticipating needs and proactively solving problems before they arise
Requirements
- Proven experience supporting senior stakeholders or founders in a fast-paced environment
- Be extremely organised with exceptional attention to detail
- Have the ability to process large volumes of information
- Be tech-savvy and comfortable using AI tools to improve efficiency
- Have excellent written communication skills (email is a key communication channel)
- Be based within a commutable distance of Cambridge
