About the position
We’re looking for an enthusiastic IT Support Engineer to join our team in Rotherham on a short-term contract. This is a great opportunity for someone at the early stage of their IT career who’s keen to get hands‑on experience in a busy, technology‑driven environment. You’ll be supporting our internal IT systems, hardware builds, and day‑to‑day operations within our fast‑paced online printing business. From troubleshooting user issues to setting up new workstations, you’ll play an important part in keeping our team connected and productive.
What you’ll be doing
- Setting up, configuring laptops and PCs to our build specification
- Helping to remove the remaining Windows 10 devices on site
- Asset checking and ensuring devices are getting patched correctly
- Supporting network and hardware troubleshooting
- General IT maintenance
- Providing first‑line IT support to staff in our Rotherham office
What we’re looking for
- Some previous IT support experience or relevant education/training (e.g. CompTIA A+, IT apprenticeship, or similar)
- A good understanding of Windows operating systems and Office 365
- Good communication skills and a friendly, helpful attitude
- Comfortable working on‑site and supporting colleagues face‑to‑face
- Reliable, organised, and eager to learn
