The Role:
The University is seeking to appoint two enthusiastic and knowledgeable Lecturers in Social Work to join our new and growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a vibrant, learner-focused institution with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality Social Work education that meets the needs of our learners and the wider social care sector.
You will be involved in designing and delivering engaging, inclusive teaching that applies theory to real-world Social Work practice. You will also support students through their learning journey, helping them to build confidence and professional practice skills.
As a member of the academic team, you will contribute to the design, delivery and assessment of Social Work modules across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. You will bring current practice expertise, a student-centred approach, and a passion for collaborative, interprofessional education.
We welcome applicants with academic or practice teaching experience and a desire to support students from diverse backgrounds. Whether you are an experienced lecturer or transitioning from social work practice, we\’ll support your development within our ambitious and supportive environment.
We particularly welcome applicants with relevant practice experience and the ability to teach Adult Social Work.
