Overall purpose of the role:
On behalf of the Directorate of Estates and Facilities, provide leadership, programme and project management in relation to construction related project work allocated to the Projects Group. This includes guiding, supporting and enabling the provision of project management services for projects that include alteration, refurbishment, new build and planned maintenance schemes. Responsibilities include the design, planning, execution and close out according to strict deadlines and within budget, whilst acquiring and managing resources and coordinating the efforts of all stakeholders in order to deliver projects within an established framework of "best value" for the University.
