Are you a skilled professional in bricklaying, carpentry, or plumbing with a passion for sharing your expertise? Do you have experience teaching in Further Education (FE) and want to be part of something groundbreaking?

Join the University as we build the future – literally. Our Construction Department is located in a multimillion-pound Retrofit Centre for Sustainable Construction, right in the heart of Birmingham.

Since September 2022, we\’ve been delivering City and Guilds FE Courses in the Construction. Now, we\’re looking for a Construction Multi-skills FE Lecturer to help us take it even further.

  • Someone to inspire and teach our full-time students the fundamentals of bricklaying, plumbing, and carpentry.
  • A passionate educator with FE teaching experience and a desire to make a difference.
  • A proactive mindset, eager to use innovative techniques to inspire our learners.
  • Flexibility – we welcome part-time or full-time applications.
