Salary: A£32,407 per year

What you’ll be doing:
-
Working Monday to Friday on a 3 shift rotation basis (6.00am-2.00pm, 2.00pm-10.00pm, 10.00pm-6.00pm).

The role will involve working as part of a team; requiring excellent communication and willing to take part in problem solving and continuous improvement exercises. Flexibility with a willingness to learn and embrace new skills will also form a fundamental requirement of the role. Duties will include:

Ensure all work is carried out safely.

Ensure all equipment is in a safe and serviceable condition.
-
Enforce and promote safety and housekeeping in your area of work.
-
To report safety and hazard faults.
-
Ensure customer quality standards are maintained at all times, including board/paper line up, starch viscosity checks, temperature and delamination checks.

Ensure a rapid response to machine failures and breakdowns and inform relevant departments (Team leader & maintenance).

Keep Shift Team Leader informed of work progress.

Ensure cleaning schedules are rigidly adhered to and meet the agreed schedule (daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly checks).

Employ continuous improvement techniques and share best practice with colleagues.

Demonstrate flexibility to cover absence and sickness as required.
Candidates with the experience or relevant job titles of; Goods Inwards Fork Lift Truck Driver, FLT Operator, Forklift Truck Operator, Manufacturing Operator, Process Operator, Production Operator, Operator, Process Plant Operative, Mechanical Assembly Technician, Production Operator, Manufacturing Operative, Process Operator, Process Technician, may also be considered for this role.
