About the Role
You will interview companies, digest industry news, analyse market data, and write accurate and high-quality strategic reports. With the support of our industry experts in our Technology Advisory Group (TAG), you will research and write about a wide variety of technologies and markets, from anaerobic membrane bioreactors to zero liquid discharge. You will present market insights and research outputs to a C-suite level audience of executives in workshops, web briefings and international conferences. Being able to write clearly and concisely is a must. You will be able to quickly distil information, apply critical thought, and present it in an easy-to-digest format. This role is likely to appeal to an engineer or scientist with a desire to continue to learn and develop in their profession.
Responsibilities
- Research & Analysis
: Author reports and articles based on analysis of primary and secondary research data, e.g., phone interviews, reading peer-reviewed papers. - Client Relationship Management
: Be the key point of contact for client accounts, engage with them on a regular basis and address their queries proactively. - Patent & Trend Analysis
: Analyzing new patents to identify the latest water technology trends. - Technology Assessment
: Investigate and profile technology companies to assess their technology and business model; be able to compare technologies at a high level. - Workshop Participation
: Take an active part in workshops and other collaborative sessions to present our findings to clients. - Industry Monitoring
: Maintain industry knowledge and comment on, water sector news which impacts the market β M&A, partnerships, project announcements, technology adoption. - Sales & Marketing Support
: Support sales and marketing colleagues in client and prospect meetings. - Industry Representation
: Represent the company at conferences and industry forums. - Client Liaison
: Liaise with and maintain a positive relationship with clients. - Consulting Project Support
: Support colleagues on consulting projects such as market studies, technology assessments and market sizing.
Qualifications
- Direct experience or knowledge of water/wastewater treatment technologies β ideally 3-4 years of work experience, or a relevant Masters or PhD in a specific water technology area.
- Excellent written English skills; you should ideally be able to proofread others\β work.

This is a fully remote position but will involve some travel, and regular calls with clients, so locations as close as possible to Irish time (GMT+1) are strongly preferred.
