An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experiencedProject Managerto leadUK MODmaritime implementation projectsacross theRoyal Navy, Royal Fleet Auxiliary, and other UK Government vessels.
This role involves managing multiple projects, overseeing installations, and ensuring seamless delivery of critical maritime communications and IT solutions.
This is an ideal role for ahighly motivated professionalwith a strong background in project management within theUK defence and maritime sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple maritime installation projects concurrently.
- DevelopEquipment Guidance Packages (EGPs),Installation Guidance Packages (IGPs), andModification Leafletsbased on engineering designs, surveys, and stakeholder input.
- Oversee theChange Impact Assessment Process (CIAP), working closely with engineering and assurance teams.
- Work with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within theProject Management and through-life supportfunctions.
- Represent the company at keycustomer project and commercial meetings.
Experience:
- Project management experiencewithin theUK MODor other UK government departments.
- MOD or government commercial work experience
- Strong technical knowledge ofelectrical/electronic systems, IT networking, and satellite communications
- Experience writingEGPs, IGPs, and Modification Leaflets.
- Flexibility to travelas required.
- Must hold or be eligible to obtainDV Security Clearance.
