We are seeking a Ground Station System Validation Engineer to work with a global leader on ground station systems that integrate control, data processing, PHY and radio hardware/firmware to deliver full communication solutions supporting DVB-S2X and a range of Radio and IP protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Validate landing station systems across PHY, hardware, and software.
- Collaborate with system engineers to study requirements and create test plans.
- Develop and execute automated and manual test procedures.
- Build and maintain test setups for regression and feature testing.
- Perform integration, bring-up, debugging, and defect analysis.
- Drive root cause investigations and corrective actions.
- Support continuous integration and test management tools.
- Analyse and report test data with regular metrics.
Experience
- MSc/BSc in Electronic Engineering.
- Strong commercial experience of system validation with complex HW/SW/embedded designs.
- Hands-on RF layer testing using spectrum analysers, VNAs, signal generators, and other lab equipment.
- Strong programming/automation skills (Python, C#, C++).
- Experience with IP networking systems, protocols, and performance testing.
