We are seeking a Ground Station System Validation Engineer to work with a global leader on ground station systems that integrate control, data processing, PHY and radio hardware/firmware to deliver full communication solutions supporting DVB-S2X and a range of Radio and IP protocols.

Key Responsibilities

  • Validate landing station systems across PHY, hardware, and software.
  • Collaborate with system engineers to study requirements and create test plans.
  • Develop and execute automated and manual test procedures.
  • Build and maintain test setups for regression and feature testing.
  • Perform integration, bring-up, debugging, and defect analysis.
  • Drive root cause investigations and corrective actions.
  • Support continuous integration and test management tools.
  • Analyse and report test data with regular metrics.

Experience

  • MSc/BSc in Electronic Engineering.
  • Strong commercial experience of system validation with complex HW/SW/embedded designs.
  • Hands-on RF layer testing using spectrum analysers, VNAs, signal generators, and other lab equipment.
  • Strong programming/automation skills (Python, C#, C++).
  • Experience with IP networking systems, protocols, and performance testing.
