PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVESThis role will be the main financial contact for the company covering:
- Budget: Expenses and overhead for the business
- Tracking and managing P&L and Balance sheet
- Accounts receivable: Current accounts payable contact for debtors on chasing debt and also bank reconciliation
- Cash flow Management: Tracking cash in and out of the business
- Collaboration with the sales team to review sales forecast: Anticipated sales and calculation of expected profit
- Assets and liabilities: Reviewing company's current assets and liabilities
- Staff expenses: Reviewing the total amount spent on employee compensation & incentives for budgetary purposes
- Profit projection: Anticipated profits over time for the 3 years with focus on forecast vs target
- Utilisation of staff for profitability purposes
- Keeping well-organised files and records of business activity
- Interacting with senior leadership team on financial and holding financial review meetings
- Following up on business communications, billing, and ordering
- Reviewing, collecting and inputting company data for financial reporting
- Other administrative tasks that are required
- Association of Accounting Technicians for Advanced, and/or Professional
- Good working knowledge of IT essentials such as Sage, Office 365, Outlook, MS Excel & MS Word and MS PowerPoint
- Hardworking, committed, well-presented and friendly
- Able to work as part of a team but also possess the ability to work on your own initiative
- Confident and outgoing
