Hours: Approximately 60 hours per week
Shift: Monday to Friday, 18:30 - 06:30

We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Night Trunk Driver to join our client's operation in Newhaven.
The Role
- This is a regular Monday to Friday night trunking role, operating between Newhaven and Burton upon Trent.
- Your typical duties will include:
- Starting at the Newhaven depot
- Driving to Burton upon Trent
- Unloading a double-decker trailer
- Loading the vehicle
- Returning back to Newhaven
- Completing all relevant vehicle and paperwork checks
- Ensuring deliveries and collections are completed safely and on time
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Maximum 6 points on your licence
- 12 months' minimum C+E experience preferred, although candidates with less experience may be considered
- Good knowledge of drivers' hours and working time regulations
- Reliable, professional and safety-conscious approach
- Comfortable working regular night shifts
